Common use of Extended Time Clause in Contracts

Extended Time. (a) If and when a Xxxxxxx is required by the COMPANY to perform work outside any shift, he/she shall be paid a minimum of one half (1/2) hour and up to a maximum of two (2) hours. It is understood that a maximum of one (1) hour may be worked prior to the shift and one- hour (1) following the shift. Extended time shall not be used to deny employment to a Xxxxxxx who would otherwise be employed to supervise men/women.
