EXTRA CONDITIONS. The hirer must remain in attendance and is responsible for function room security, safety of guests and supervising all activities during the hire period. The hirer must ensure that all doors and windows are closed when leaving the Function Centre. UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED HEREIN THE HIRER’S CONTACT AT COUNCIL IS SHOWGROUND MANAGEMENT – TELEPHONE 0000 0000. Each Hirer expressly acknowledges and agrees that despite his/her licence to hire, he/she is nonetheless subject to and must fully comply with the Terms and Conditions of Entry to the Fairfield Showground, in force from time to time. A copy of the Terms & Conditions of Entry to Fairfield Showground currently in force is attached to and forms part of this Hire Agreement. In the event of an inconsistency between this Hire Agreement and the Terms & Conditions of Entry to Fairfield Showground, the Terms & Conditions of Entry to the Fairfield Showground will prevail over the Hire Agreement, which will then be deemed to have been amended accordingly, to allow for any such inconsistency. The Red Gum Room is let only for casual hire and the payment by any person of any sum of money by way of rental for such function room and the issue of a receipt on behalf of Council for such sum shall be deemed to be an acknowledgement and acceptance by such person of the conditions and stipulation contained in these conditions of casual hire. The Hirer has read the Conditions of Hire attached hereto and agrees to be bound by those Conditions.   • Unsafe Conditions In accordance with 29 CFR § 1977, occasions might arise when an employee is confronted with a choice between not performing assigned tasks or subjecting himself/herself to serious injury or death arising from a hazardous condition at the workplace. If the employee, with no reasonable alternative, refuses in good faith to expose himself/herself to the dangerous condition, he/she would be protected against subsequent discrimination. The condition causing the employee's apprehension of death or injury must be of such a nature that a reasonable person, under the circumstances then confronting the employee, would conclude that there is a real danger of death or serious injury and that there is insufficient time, due to the urgency of the situation, to eliminate the danger by resorting to regular statutory enforcement channels. In addition, in such circumstances, the employee, where possible, must also have sought from his Employer, and been unable to obtain, a correction of the dangerous condition.

  • Unsafe Work Conditions No employee shall be disciplined for refusal to work on an assignment which, in the opinion of:

  • Subsurface Conditions Contractor agrees that information contained in the published reports and public actions of the Missouri Division of Geology and Land Survey shall be conclusive and binding upon the Contractor as to what subsurface conditions at the job site are reasonably anticipated or reasonably foreseeable. Contractor acknowledges and agrees that it shall not be entitled to any adjustment in the Contract Sum or Contract Times for any concealed condition of any nature, including but not limited to unknown physical conditions of an unusual nature which differ materially from those ordinarily found to exist and generally recognized as inherent in construction activities of the character provided for in the Contract Documents, in addition to the information contained in the published reports and public actions of the Missouri Division of Geology and Land Survey. Contractor recognizes that it has assumed the risks of concealed conditions and is being compensated for assuming these risks.

  • BASIC CONDITIONS The State shall have no obligation to disburse money for the Project under this Grant Agreement until the Grantee has satisfied the following conditions:
