Employees who work for a period of less than five months during a calendar year, less than 650 hours per calendar year intermittently, or in a temporary assignment up to a year in projects with an end in sight, during the absence of a regular employee or when employment is necessitated by work load peaks. This category is inclusive of student, casual, and seasonal employees. Extra Help employees are not in the bargaining unit and are not covered by this Agreement. Extra Help employees are covered by the County Extra Help Policy.
