UNION JURISDICTION. During the life of this Agreement, the Union will not engage in jurisdictional disputes on the premises of the Employer's places of business.
UNION JURISDICTION. The Employer agrees that all work coming under the jurisdiction of this Union in the certified area, performed by anyone, on behalf of, or at the instance of the Employer, directly or indirectly under contract or sub-contract, shall be performed by employees who are members of this Union or who shall become members in accordance with the terms and conditions as set out in this Agreement.
UNION JURISDICTION. The Contractor agrees to recognize the inside and outside jurisdiction as outlined in the Constitution of the IBEW in the performance of all electrical work performed within the geographic jurisdiction of the union. The scope of this Agreement shall not apply to electrical work involved in the following: ▪ Institutional work ▪ Commercial work other than those areas as defined in the Agreement ▪ Industrial work ▪ Residential apartment house work ▪ Linework Residential Low-Rise shall include, but not be restricted to, the electrical work involved in the following: ▪ New homes of any size or type; ▪ Single family, multiple family or in developments, townhouses, row houses and prefabricated houses of all types (all of which may be wood, metal stud, block, concrete or plastic construction); ▪ Repairs and rewiring in existing homes; ▪ Service work on all of the above. If prior to the tender closing a question arises as to whether the job comes under the scope of this Agreement or the ICI Agreement, it will be the Employers’ responsibility to contact the union Business Manager for clarification. The Business Manager’s decision can be referred to the Residential Grievance Board under Article 12.01.
UNION JURISDICTION. The Board agrees to respect the jurisdiction of the Union regarding the assignments of members of the unit to drive regular, field and special trips, except that qualified employees other than members of the unit may drive if no member of the unit is available and desires to drive. The Board further agrees that a member of the unit shall be utilized for the transporting of pupil luggage or equipment together with pupil transportation on field trips.
UNION JURISDICTION. The Agreement shall cover all members of Local Union 8, OPEIU at WPAS current location or at the location if WPAS moves its corporate headquarters.
UNION JURISDICTION. Exhibitor is required to comply with all contracts in effect between service contractors, the Convention Center, Show Management and the labor organizations involved. Any Exhibitor requiring the use of labor services in assembling and dismantling of its exhibit will not be permitted to use employees of firms other than its own or of the Official Contractor.
UNION JURISDICTION. 3.01 The Union agrees that no jurisdictional dispute with any other Union shall result in any work stoppage or slowdown in the Municipality's operations. SECTION 4 - NO DISCRIMINATION
UNION JURISDICTION. This is to confirm our understanding as to the application of section 2.05. As agreed during previous negotiations, the work of the bargaining unit, (i.e., jurisdiction of Local #21), shall be performed only by members of the bargaining unit. For the purpose of this section and Article 15, the term "handling" includes, but is not limited to, the placing or removing of product from display or cooler areas, except as provided for in section 2.05. In the event of a first violation of this understanding, the Employer shall pay to the Local Union, for equal distribution to all regular bargaining unit employees employed at the market where the violation occurred, one day's pay (8 hours total) at the Journeyman Meat Cutters' rate applicable on the day of the violation. In the event of a second or subsequent violation at the same location, the Employer shall pay to the Local Union for disbursement to all regular bargaining unit members employed at the market where the violation occurred, one day's pay for each bargaining unit member employed at the market where the violation occurred, at the applicable rate of pay for the day upon which the violation occurred. Penalties will not apply to the following:
UNION JURISDICTION. The Company recognizes the Union as the sole agency for the purpose of collective bargaining for all employees coming under the provisions of this Agreement, except office employees, salesmen, persons in a supervisory capacity with the right to hire and fire, and Management personnel.
UNION JURISDICTION. This Agreement is to cover all flagmen, signalmen, watchmen, (including tank and firewatch when required by the owner), rodmen, chainmen, laborers and foremen on grade, pipe, concrete, forms, setting and handling metal sidewalk forms, seeding, asphalt, clearing and grubbing, clean-up, burners, drillers, blasters, specifically included in this jurisdiction, laying of concrete, tile, cast iron pipe, transit pipe, plastic pipe, conduit (wood, tile, plastic, Orangeburg, concrete), the spreading and pouring and raking and tamping of all asphalt and concrete materials and the bull floating (strike of all concrete, all conveyor type machines used for pouring concrete, the laying of all types of stone or manufactured curb, rip- rap, paving block, and Belgium block, mortar machines, well pointing, the loading and unloading, handling and stringing of all of the above-mentioned materials and all wood products, rough or finished, loading and unloading, placing and installation of all precast materials, assemble and install multiplate, operation of all air, gas, electric and motor driven tools including all walk behind self-propelled equipment, specifically roller type tampers, form pinpullers, joint and jet sealers in performing the above-mentioned work and other work coming under the jurisdiction of the Laborers’ International Union of North America. The operation of lasers in conjunction with Laborer's work covered by this agreement is also included. The operation and maintenance of mudsuckers, single diaphragm is solely the laborer's jurisdiction. Cleaning of the building such as washing and cleaning of windows, doors and doorframes, walls and floors and preparing for occupancy, such as waxing of floors before full acceptance of owner is solely the laborer's jurisdiction. Notwithstanding any agreements between International Unions or decisions on the International level or by the National Joint Board for the Settlement of Disputes, area practice shall be continued, specifically that laborers have full jurisdiction over loading, unloading, handling and distribution to point of installation of all materials finished or unfinished to be used by carpenters. Loading, unloading, handling and installation of all pre-cast materials and units are included in the laborers’ jurisdiction.
