Federal and Provincial Offices. There are no restrictions other than the deed of secrecy on team members engaging in political activities on their own time as campaign workers. If a team member is nominated as a candidate for election, the team member shall be granted leave without pay in accordance with Clause 20.4(a) to engage in the election campaign. If elected, the team member shall be granted leave of absence in accordance with Clause 20.4(c). If not elected, the team member shall be allowed to return to their former position.
