Common use of FEDERATION SECURITY Clause in Contracts

FEDERATION SECURITY. The College hereby agrees that every academic employee shall have the right freely to organize, join, and support the Federation for the purpose of engaging in collective bargaining or negotiation and other concerted activities for mutual aid and protection. The College agrees that it will not discriminate against any academic employee with respect to hours, wages, or any terms or conditions of employment by reason of membership in the Federation, participation in any lawful activities of the Federation or collective negotiations with the College or any grievance, complaint, or proceeding under this Agreement. Nothing in this section shall be construed to diminish the opportunity of the College to utilize any legal remedies available.

The College agrees that it will not discriminate against any academic employee faculty member with respect to hours, wages, wages or any terms or conditions of employment by reason of their membership in the Federation, ; their participation in any lawful activities of the Federation or collective negotiations with the College College; or any grievance, complaint, or proceeding under this Agreementagreement.
