Field and Laboratory. Provide subsurface investigations in general conformance with TxDOT standards for approximately 7,800 of Xxxxxxx Road and 1 traffic signal site to determine site stratigraphy and obtain samples for laboratory testing. Shelby tube sampling will be performed in cohesive soils and split spoon sampling will be performed in cohesionless soils. Sampling is anticipated to be as noted below:
Field and Laboratory. Testing The project geotechnical engineer shall, prior to the start of any field and laboratory testing, submit a detailed plan addressing how the planned testing meets the requirements of the GPR. Applicable testing methods and procedures shall be cited. Unless otherwise noted, all testing standards shall be in accordance with HOOT standards. In addition, the plan shall clearly state the name(s) and locations of the testing facility that will be used and any applicable certifications/accreditations. Testing facility shall have current accreditation by HOOT, MSHTO Materials Reference Laboratory (AMRL) or Navy for the specific laboratory tests to be performed. Laboratory testing shall meet the requirements of MSHTO LRFO Section 10.4.3 and Standard Specification 0232 OO-Geotechcnical Investigations. For buildings and other structures not governed by MSHTO, the geotechnical report may be submitted concurrent with or combined with the Geotechnical Oata Report required in 9.6.4. 9.6.4 Geotechnical Data Reports Geotechnical reports or memoranda as detailed below, signed and sealed per the requirements of 9.6.1 above, shall be submitted to the City for review and acceptance (O-B contract) or approval (0- B-B contract). Reports to be based on FHWA EO-88-053 (Checklists and Guidelines For Review of Geotechnical Reports and Preliminary Plans and Specifications). The project geotechnical engineer shall prepare signed and sealed per the reqllirements of 9.9.1 above, a nd submit to the City .. report(s) documenting the field investigations and all field and laboratory testing performed, explicitly noting the date, project limits or specific area represented, the report's intended purpose, and all field and laboratory data obtained. These investigation data, together with investigation data included in the Geotechnical Oata Report, shall be the bases for the engineering analyses and geotechnical designs. 9.6.4.1

  • Laboratory a. Drug tests shall be conducted by laboratories licensed and approved by SAMSHA which comply with the American Occupational Medical Association (AOMA) ethical standards. Upon advance notice, the parties retain the right to inspect the laboratory to determine conformity with the standards described in this policy. The laboratory will only test for drugs identified in this policy. The City shall bear the cost of all required testing unless otherwise specified herein.
