Field Trip Transportation. Faculty Members shall not be required to transport students in their private vehicles, but may do so on a voluntary basis, in accordance with established District procedures and policies. Such use of private vehicles shall be within the scope of employment. Faculty Members who use their own vehicles for field trips, in accordance with District policies and procedures, will be covered by the District's liability insurance as a secondary coverage. Their private vehicle insurance will be the primary coverage. Proof of Insurance must be on file with the District.

Field Trip Transportation. Field trip requests shall be submitted two weeks prior to the requested departure date to CMCSSSD. All requests must be submitted in writing on an individual or multi-request form (form F3 and F4) and submitted by email to the Transportation Secretaries and Transportation Coordinator. Departure dates for Field Trips cannot be guaranteed; especially during April and May therefore it is highly recommended that requests are sent in early. If the requested date is not available, alternate dates may be provided. Trips must indicate the total number of passengers or your request will be returned.

  • Air Transportation In accordance with the standard provision entitled International Air Transportation, any international travel requires prior written approval from the FHI360 contracts administrator.

Except as provided below, CONTRACTOR shall compensate the transportation provider directly for such services, and shall charge the LEA for such services at the actual and reasonable rates billed by the transportation provider, plus a ten percent (.10) administrative fee, unless a “flat rate” is provided in the transportation contract. In the event that the transportation provider notifies the LEA or SELPA Director that CONTRACTOR is more than 90 days behind in payment for transportation services, LEA shall have the right, in its sole and exclusive discretion, but not the obligation, to make payment for such services directly to the transportation provider, and to deduct such payments from any sums owed to CONTRACTOR pursuant to this Master Contract and any Individual Services Agreement between the parties. In the event that the LEA makes direct payment of the transportation provider’s charges, it shall be entitled to withhold both the transportation charges themselves and such additional amount as shall be reasonably necessary to compensate the LEA for the staff and other costs incurred in making direct payment of those charges. The remedies provided to the LEA pursuant to this Paragraph shall not be exclusive. CONTRACTOR shall not include transportation through the use of services or equipment owned, leased or contracted through the LEA unless expressly provided in the Individual Services Agreement for the student transported.

  • Public Transportation Taxi or airport limousine services may be considered when traveling in and around cities or to and from airports when less expensive means of transportation are unavailable or impractical. The actual fare plus a reasonable tip (15-18%) are reimbursable. In the case of a free hotel shuttle to the airport, tips are included in the per diem rates and will not be reimbursed separately.
