Filing and Processing. A. Filing A grievance must be filed within twenty-eight (28) days of the occurrence giving rise to the grievance, or the date the grievant knew or could reasonably have known of the occurrence. The twenty-eight (28) day period above should be used to attempt to informally resolve the dispute but will not extend the twenty-eight (28) days unless otherwise mutually agreed to by the College and the Union in writing.
