Common use of Final Probationary Year Clause in Contracts

Final Probationary Year. A bargaining unit faculty member on a tenure-track appointment may, in his/her sixth (6th) and final probationary year, apply for a sabbatical leave. In such a case, however, if the xxxxxxx approves the sabbatical leave, the final recommendation shall be submitted to the Board of Trustees at the same time as, and only if, a positive tenure recommendation is made.
