Fire Key Allowance. An employee who holds the Fire Key for the duration of a shift shall be paid an allowance of $0.30 per hour.

Laundry Allowance A laundry and dry cleaning allowance of $20.00 per week is to be paid to Appraisers assigned to work outside the County of Los Angeles for periods in excess of 14 calendar days.
INJURY ALLOWANCE 34.01 An employee injured on the job shall be paid for the balance of his or her shift on which the injury occurred if, as a result of such an injury, the employee is sent home by the Employer or is sent to an outside hospital and doctor at such hospital or the employee’s own doctor certifies that the employee should not return to work. Boot Allowance The District will pay $180 toward the purchase and/or repair of work boots for District Employees listed in the District’s Work Apparel Policy and/or at the discretion of the employee’s department manager.
