Unit Employee definition

Unit Employee means a City employee identified in Section 2-401 (a) (3) of the Tempe City Code. “Association shall mean a Unit Employee who pays Association dues Member” “Association Representative” shall mean a City of Tempe employee representative of UAEA designated by the Association
Unit Employee shall have the same meaning as the term “Employee” as contained in Article 2 - DEFINITIONS (Subsection K) of this Agreement. The term “eligible employee” shall mean all employees of the District identified as eligible employees in any Gainshare Plan approved by the District Board for any calendar year, whether or not such employees are covered by this Agreement. District employees not covered by this Agreement are referred to as “Non-unit Personnel.”
Unit Employee. Any employee covered under this agreement whether or not subject to the Teacher Tenure Act.

Examples of Unit Employee in a sentence

  • If more than one Bargaining Unit Employee signs up for the same shift, then that shift will be assigned to the competing Bargaining Unit Employee in rotating Seniority order.

  • A Bargaining Unit Employee who is displaced in a Layoff or has hours reduced shall also have bumping rights.

  • When the Employer hires a new Bargaining Unit Employee, it shall advise that employee in writing, that there is an Agreement with the Union.

More Definitions of Unit Employee

Unit Employee as used herein shall include all full-time Captains, Lieutenants and full-time Firefighters employed by the Employer.
Unit Employee means an employee covered by this Agreement (see 1.2 above) and included in an appropriate bargaining unit as determined by the Federal Labor Relations Authority.
Unit Employee is defined as a member of the certified bargaining unit as described in this Article.

  • Male employee means an employed male who is caring for a child borne of his spouse or a child placed with the employee for adoption purposes.

  • Non-Key Employee means any Employee who is not a Key Employee.

  • Service employee, means any person engaged in the performance of this contract other than any person employed in a bona fide executive, administrative, or professional capacity, as these terms are defined in Part 541 of Title 29, Code of Federal Regulations, as revised. It includes all such persons regardless of any contractual relationship that may be alleged to exist between a Contractor or subcontractor and such persons.

  • Management Employee means an employee having responsibility for formulating, administering or managing the implementation of District policies and programs.

  • New employee means a Full-Time Employee first employed by the Company in the Project and who is hired on or after the Effective Date of this Agreement.
