Common use of Float Pay Clause in Contracts

Float Pay. A. Employees in the classes of, Licensed Vocational Nurse and Nursing Assistant who are regularly assigned to a specific xxxx or unit shall be paid a float differential of five (5%) percent of his/her base rate of pay for each hour he/she is assigned to float to another xxxx or unit provided that such float exceeds a minimum of two (2) hours.
