Common use of Food and Beverage Sales Clause in Contracts

Food and Beverage Sales. Exhibitors are permitted to sell only imported snack foods that are not readily attainable at a typical domestic grocery store. This limited exception, however, does not pertain to beverages. The sale of beverages, no matter the type or origin, is strictly prohibited. Exhibitors may give out samples of food or beverages so long as arrangements are made with the Convention Center prior to the commencement of the Convention. Any Exhibitor making such arrangements must strictly abide by the Convention Center’s rules and regulations regarding sampling. Any violations this provision may result in the suspension of the Exhibitor’s ability to sell or give out samples of food items for the remainder of the Convention. UBI (Universal Business Identification): Exhibitor must have a Washington State business license and UBI number. A temporary license may be obtained by calling the Department of Revenue at (000) 000-0000. Any Exhibitor who does not provide a UBI number prior to, or at setup, on April 18th, will be denied access to Sakura-Con 2019 until such time as a UBI number is presented. There will be no refunds.
