PERFORMING THE WORK. 1.1 The expert must work independently, in a personal capacity and not on behalf of any organisation.
1.2 The expert must:
(a) evaluate each [proposal][prize application] in a confidential and fair way, in accordance with the [applicable rules] [Horizon 2020 Rules for Participation Regulation No 1290/20131] [additional OPTION for ERC evaluators: and, in particular, with the ERC Rules for Submission and Evaluation2];
(b) perform his/her work to the best of his/her abilities, professional skills, knowledge and applying the highest ethical and moral standards;
(c) follow the instructions and time-schedule given by the [Commission][Agency] [additional OPTION for experts managed by XXX for non-REA calls: and the responsible [Commission][INEA][EASME] staff].
1.3 The expert may not delegate the work to another person or be replaced by another person.
1.4 If a person or entity involved in a [proposal][prize application] approaches the expert before or during the evaluation, s/he must immediately inform the [Commission][Agency].
1.5 The expert may not be (or become) involved in any of the actions resulting from the [proposal(s)][prize application(s)] that s/he evaluated (at any stage of the procedure, including for two-stage calls). [additional OPTION for two-stage calls: In addition, the expert may not be (or become) involved in the preparation of a proposal at the second stage of a two-stage call, if s/he participated in the evaluation of the first stage.]

PERFORMING THE WORK. Central Termite agrees to perform in a workmanlike manner. Central Termite will exercise reasonable care while performing any work hereunder to try to avoid damaging any part of the structure(s), plants, or animals.
PERFORMING THE WORK. Guardian Angel Exterminating will exercise care while performing any work hereunder to avoid damaging any part of the property, plants or annuals. Under no circumstances or conditions shall Guardian Angel Exterminating be responsible for damage caused at the time the work is performed except those damages resulting from gross negligence on the part of Guardian Angel Exterminating.

PERFORMING THE WORK. Facility Pest Control, Inc. will perform the work in a workmanlike manner. Facility Pest Control, Inc. will exercise reasonable care while performing any work hereunder to try to avoid damaging any part of the structure(s), plants or animals. Under no circumstances or conditions shall Facility Pest Control, Inc. be responsible for damage caused by Facility Pest Control, Inc. at the time the work is performed except those damages resulting from gross negligence on the part of Facility Pest Control, Inc.
PERFORMING THE WORK. If the Contractor believes that any delay in any Work by Others has caused or resulted in any unreasonable delay and/or unreasonably increases the cost of performing the Work, the Contractor may provide notice and a request for Change Order as provided in Sections 11.9 and 11.10, respectively, of these General Provisions.
