FULL WORK DAY a. Employees shall be at their staging area at the time established by the Contractor and shall be returned to their staging area by quitting time after performing their assigned functions under the supervision of the Contractor. The parties reaffirm their policy of a fair day’s work for a fair day’s wage. b. There shall be no non-working employees at the Project unless the presence of such employee is required due to normal maintenance (e.g. refueling). There shall be no electrical stand-by employees until the electrical prime contractor has commenced work on the Project. No electrical stand-by employee may remain on the Project after the permanent electrical system is operational. There shall be no stand-by labor of any kind unless requested by the Construction Manager and/or Owner. With respect to the operating engineers working on the project, xxxxxxx shall be in accordance with their current collective bargaining agreement with the explicit understanding that all manpower assigned to the project is productive".

  • Work Year The full-time work year for all employees employed in EA and ECE job classes shall be a minimum of 194 work days to correspond with the school year calendar.

  • Work Day and Work Week The normal work day shall consist of up to 8 hours of work within a 24-hour period. The normal work week shall consist of up to 40 hours of work within a 7-day period. The Employer may define the work week on an individual, department, shift or facility basis in accordance with Federal and State law.
