Common use of General Child Care Leave Clause in Contracts

General Child Care Leave. Under no circumstances will a general child care leave, or child birth leave, be granted to a teacher for the next school year if that teacher would otherwise be non-renewed for budgetary or performance reasons. A non-probationary teacher shall be granted a general child care leave, including for adoption purposes, without pay not to exceed twelve (12) months by the School Board subject to the following regulations:
