General Wage Increases. 1. Effective the pay period containing January 1 of each year, salaries for represented classifications as set forth in Appendix A, will be adjusted in accordance with the salary survey provisions of Appendix D (Procedure for Dispute Resolution) except as provided below in subsections 10.A.2. through 10.A.4. 2. January 1, 2023: Effective the pay period containing January 1, 2023, salaries for safety classifications covered by this MOU will be adjusted in accordance with the salary survey provisions of Appendix D (Procedure for Dispute Resolution), except that the provision in subsection (h)(iii) regarding the Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers shall have a maximum cap of no more than five percent (5%). 3. January 1, 2024: Effective the pay period containing January 1, 2024, salaries for safety classifications covered by this MOU will be adjusted in accordance with the salary survey provisions of Appendix D (Procedure for Dispute Resolution), except that the provision in subsection (h)(iii) regarding the Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers shall have a maximum cap of no more than five percent (5%). 4. January 1, 2025: Effective the pay period containing January 1, 2025, salaries for safety classifications covered by this MOU will be adjusted in accordance with the salary survey provisions of Appendix D (Procedure for Dispute Resolution), except that the provision in subsection (h)(iii) regarding the Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers shall have a maximum cap of no more than five percent (5%).
