Geographic Area Served. ● The specific geographic areas for recruitment of children and families to participate in the program include residents within the District’s boundaries. ● District will maintain collaborations or agreements with Parents as Teachers, Harvesters, local churches and the school district’s privately funded Education Foundation to support the needs of children and families.

The catchment area follows the Edmonton Capital Region boundaries and includes the following municipalities: • six cities: Edmonton, Fort Saskatchewan, Leduc, St. Xxxxxx, Beaumont and Spruce Grove; • one specialized municipality, Strathcona County, which includes Sherwood Park; • three municipal districts: Leduc County, Parkland County, and Sturgeon County; • nine towns: Bon Accord, Bruderheim, Calmar, Devon, Xxxxxxx, Legal, Morinville, Redwater, and Stony Plain; • four villages: Spring Lake, Thorsby, Wabamun, and Warburg; • eight summer villages: Betula Beach, Golden Days, Itaska Beach, Kapasiwin, Lakeview, Point Alison, Seba Beach, and Sundance Beach; • four Indian Reserves for three First Nations: Alexander 134 of the Alexander First Nation, Stony Plain 135 of the Xxxxx Xxxx Nation, and Wabamun 133A and 133B of the Xxxx First Nation. Geographic Area Served. The geographic area to be served under this Agreement is described by a map attached and incorporated into this Agreement as Exhibit A. ✓ Option 1 for changing service area boundaries: Any party seeking to make changes to the service area described in Exhibit A shall notify the other party(ies) of its intention [six months/one year] before such boundary change shall take effect. ✓ Option 2 for changing service area boundaries on a calendar year basis: Municipality shall notify Contractor by September 1 of each year if it desires to make any changes in the boundaries of the service area for the upcoming calendar year. Municipality and Contractor shall work together in good faith to reach a mutual agreement to change the service area. ✓ Option 3 for changing service area boundaries if more than one municipality is included in the Agreement: After the notice expires, the municipality’s percentage of coverage and proportionate share of expenses for the purposes of paragraph shall be immediately added or subtracted based upon a three (3) year rolling average of emergency and other calls for services utilized within the added or subtracted area. Notice shall be provided in accordance with section 27 of this Agreement.
