Gezond Speelveld (Fair playing field. The joint study committee focusing on how to implement ‘good commissioning practice’ in the context of creating a fair playing field will continue its activities. Aspects that will in any case be addressed in the study are: • whether rates will be implemented for freelance activities • creating more insight with Works Councils/Editorial Committees/RR in the rates implemented for the various types of freelance work • the option for freelancers and sole traders to take part in education facilities and the development of a collective facility for these workers in relation to occupational disability benefits and pensions. The extended study will also involve the report entitled Onderzoek naar hedendaagse praktijk met betrekking tot het inhuren van zzp-ers en freelancers (‘Investigation into current practices with regard to hiring sole traders and freelancers’) (final report of the Fair Playing Field Committee dated 23 July 2019); the Leidraad Tariefafspraken zzp-ers (‘Guidelines on rate agreements with sole traders’) of the Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM); the recommendations of the Borstlap Committee (committee on ‘regulation of work, future-proof employment law, social security and taxation’) and the Social Affairs and Employment Minister’s xxxx on self-employment. The study committee will report before 1 July 2020.
