GME Manual. The Graduate Medical Education Policies and Procedures Manual ("GME Manual") contains the institutional guidelines, policies and procedures governing the selection, appointment, evaluation, retention, and promotion of residents at KUMC. Resident is required to review and abide by the policies, procedures, and terms of the GME Manual and all other policies applicable to the Program. The GME Manual is in electronic form on the KUMC Website under the Office of Graduate Medical Education's Policies and Procedures link at: xxxxx://xxx.xxxx.xxx/school-of-medicine/gme/information-for-residents-and-fellows/policies-and-procedures.html This website serves as your copy of the GME Manual and will be your source for the most current version. You may also contact the Graduate Medical Education Office to obtain information regarding recent revisions to the GME Manual. The GME Manual, in its most recent version, as modified on July 1 each year and from time to time as necessary, is hereby incorporated into this Agreement by reference. Although references to specific numerical sections of the GME Manual are made throughout this Agreement, such numerical designations are subject to change as the GME Manual is updated. By signing this Agreement, Resident acknowledges receipt of the GME Manual.

GME Manual. Resident is required to be familiar with and abide by the policies, procedures, and terms of the GME Manual and all other policies applicable to the Program. Resident will keep current with any changes made to the GME Manual each year and from time to time as deemed necessary by KU Medical Center and posted at xxxx://xxx.xxxx.xxx. By signing this Agreement, Resident acknowledges Resident's receipt of the GME Manual and responsibility to review and abide by the GME Manual and other policies applicable to the Program.
GME Manual. Hospital shall make available to PGY1 online an electronic manual of written policies and procedures defining the duties and privileges of PGY1 participating in the Program (the “GME Manual”), including, but not limited to requirements relating to employee physical and drug screenings, dress code, impairment and substance abuse, disabilities and sexual harassment. In the event of any conflict between the terms or conditions of this Agreement and GME Manual policies or procedures, the GME Manual policies and procedures will control.

  • Project Implementation Manual The Recipient, through the PCU, shall: (i) take all action required to carry out Parts 1.1, 1.3, 1.4, 2, 3.1(b), 3.2, 3.3 and 4 (ii) of the Project in accordance with the provisions and requirements set forth or referred to in the Project Implementation Manual; (ii) submit recommendations to the Association for its consideration for changes and updates of the Project Implementation Manual as they may become necessary or advisable during Project implementation in order to achieve the objective of Parts 1.1, 1.3, 1.4, 2, 3.1(b), 3.2, 3.3 and 4(ii) of the Project; and (iii) not assign, amend, abrogate or waive the Project Implementation Manual or any of its provisions without the Association’s prior agreement.   • Policies, Guidelines, Directives and Standards Either the Funder or the Ministry will give the HSP Notice of any amendments to the manuals, guidelines or policies identified in Schedule C.   • CONTRACT WORK HOURS AND SAFETY STANDARDS As per the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (40 U.S.C. 3701-3708), where applicable, all Customer Purchase Orders in excess of ,000 that involve the employment of mechanics or laborers must include a provision for compliance with 40 U.S.C. 3702 and 3704, as supplemented by Department of Labor regulations (29 CFR Part 5). Under 40 U.S.C. 3702 of the Act, each contractor must be required to compute the wages of every mechanic and laborer on the basis of a standard work week of 40 hours. Work in excess of the standard work week is permissible provided that the worker is compensated at a rate of not less than one and a half times the basic rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of 40 hours in the work week. The requirements of 40 U.S.C. 3704 are applicable to construction work and provide that no laborer or mechanic must be required to work in surroundings or under working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous or dangerous. These requirements do not apply to the purchases of supplies or materials or articles ordinarily available on the open market, or contracts for transportation or transmission of intelligence.
