Common use of Grievance Promptly Discussed Clause in Contracts

Grievance Promptly Discussed. It is agreed that any grievance or dispute arising out of the interpretation, application, administration, or alleged violation of the provisions of this Agreement including whether a matter is arbitrable, shall be promptly discussed with the parties hereto who shall diligently cooperate with each other in an effort to adjust such a grievance as quickly as possible. It is understood that certain steps of the grievance procedure may be by passed by mutual agreement and that issues involving suspensions or terminations may proceed directly to Step 2.
