Ground Ambulance Service. Provider shall provide exclusive emergency and non-emergency Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support ground ambulance service for the duration of this agreement for all emergency and non-emergency transports which originate within the geographical boundaries of the Service Area. In addition to ground ambulances, Acadian is to be the exclusive primary provider of rotor wing air ambulance transports which originate within the geographic boundaries of the Service Area dispatched through the 911 system or by any employee or volunteer first responder of the City or any of the Service Areas, and including any person working for or in a facility receiving local funding to subsidize such facility’s operations and /or revenue, and as such shall also have medical helicopter support available to assist in critical situations when patients require expedient transport to appropriate medical facilities. If Acadian is unable to provide the necessary air support then Acadian shall call for a back up provider. Residents of the Service Areas shall have access to (assuming the appropriate need and subject to availability) Provider’s Medical fixed wing air ambulance aircraft. Provider agrees that for the duration of this Agreement it shall be obligated to maintain at least one medically configured Advanced Life Support helicopter stationed within the Parish and available a minimum of 24 hours per day. Provider further agrees that it shall be obligated to maintain a backup Advanced Life Support helicopter on a full-time 24 hour basis within 65 air miles of the Parish line. The helicopters shall be staffed at all times by a FAA licensed pilot and Nationally Registered Paramedic and /or Registered Nurse.

  • Ambulance Services Ground Ambulance This plan covers local professional or municipal ground ambulance services when it is medically necessary to use these services, rather than any other form of transportation as required under R.I. General Law § 27-20-55. Examples include but are not limited to the following: • from a hospital to a home, a skilled nursing facility, or a rehabilitation facility after being discharged as an inpatient; • to the closest available hospital emergency room in an emergency situation; or • from a physician’s office to an emergency room. Our allowance for ground ambulance includes the services rendered by an emergency medical technician or paramedic, as well as any drugs, supplies and cardiac monitoring provided. Air and Water Ambulance This plan covers air and water ambulance services when: • the time needed to move a patient by land, or the instability of transportation by land, may threaten a patient’s condition or survival; or • if the proper equipment needed to treat the patient is not available from a ground ambulance. The patient must be transported to the nearest facility where the required services can be performed and the type of physician needed to treat the patient’s condition is available. Our allowance for the air or water ambulance includes the services rendered by an emergency medical technician or paramedic, as well as any drugs, supplies and cardiac monitoring provided.

  • MAINTENANCE SERVICE 1. Free maintenance services including spares shall be provided by the vendor during the period of warranty. User, at its discretion may ask the vendor to provide maintenance services after warranty period, i.e. Annual maintenance and repairs of the system at the rates indicated by bidder in its proposal and on being asked so, the vendor shall provide the same. The cost of annual maintenance and repairs cost (after warranty period), which will include cost of spares replaced, shall be paid in equal quarterly installments at the end of each quarter.

  • Directory Assistance Service 8.3.1 Directory Assistance Service provides local end user telephone number listings with the option to complete the call at the caller's direction separate and distinct from local switching.

  • Ambulance Escort Where a nurse is assigned to provide patient care for a patient in transit, the following provisions shall apply:

  • Verizon Retail Telecommunications Service Any Telecommunications Service that Verizon provides at retail to subscribers that are not Telecommunications Carriers. The term “Verizon Retail Telecommunications Service” does not include any Exchange Access service (as defined in Section 3(16) of the Act, 47 U.S.C. § 153(16)) provided by Verizon.

  • AIN Selective Carrier Routing for Operator Services, Directory Assistance and Repair Centers 4.3.1 BellSouth will provide AIN Selective Carrier Routing at the request of <<customer_name>>. AIN Selective Carrier Routing will provide <<customer_name>> with the capability of routing operator calls, 0+ and 0- and 0+ NPA (LNPA) 555-1212 directory assistance, 1+411 directory assistance and 611 repair center calls to pre-selected destinations.

  • Laundry Service If the Government provides a laundry service at the incident base camp, the Contractor may utilize the service at no cost.

  • Hospice Services Services are available for a Member whose Attending Physician has determined the Member's illness will result in a remaining life span of six months or less.
