Common use of Group Leader Clause in Contracts

Group Leader. A Group Leader is appointed to lead a group of people in a particular department or area. Directs the workforce on instructions of the Supervisor. The Group Leader reports directly to the Supervisor of the department or area and will not be involved in the hiring, separation, or disciplinary procedures of the Company. The Group leader job will be posted as per Article 9.13 (a). In selecting an employee for Group Leader the Company shall consider the qualifications, leadership potential, ability and skill of the employee. No employee will be allowed to post for this job until they have attained six (6) months seniority.
