HANDICAPPED EMPLOYEES. (a) It is recognized by the Union and the Company that from time to time problems may arise regarding the placing of handicapped employees on jobs. Accordingly, it is agreed that where such situations arise, the Company and the Union will discuss and attempt to agree on positions for such employees. Where it is mutually agreed to place such employees on certain jobs, they may be given preference in such classifications. However, should a handicapped employee become physically fit again, he shall be removed from the preferred list. The lay-off provisions of this Agreement shall apply to handicapped employees.
