Common use of Hardship Allowance Clause in Contracts

Hardship Allowance. (b) When an employee is required to stay overnight at locations in Coastal Labrador north of Red Bay, the employee will receive fifty dollars ($50.00) per night. This Hardship Allowance applies only with respect to Labrador communities without road access (currently Black Tickle, Hopedale, Makkovik, Nain, Natuashish, Norman’s Bay, Postville, Rigolet, Voisey’s Bay, Xxxxxxxx Harbour) and can be changed in the future as required.
