Health & Safety at Work. You must familiarise yourself with the Company’s health and safety procedures and take care of your own health and safety and that of your colleagues. You should report any safety concerns to your line manager as quickly as possible.

Health & Safety at Work. 27.1 The Employee must familiarise themselves with and abide by the Company’s Health and Safety Policy as may be in place from time to time. During the course of the employment the Employee is obliged to take care for their own health and safety and that of their colleagues.
Health & Safety at Work. 1. Members of staff shall be positively encouraged to bring to the attention of managers and safety representatives any problems or concerns relating to health and safety at work, they should do this as soon as they become aware of a problem. To achieve maximum involvement in safety, especially at local level, managers will discuss safety matters with their staff on a regular basis. These arrangements are supplementary to the functions of safety representatives as set out in the Regulations and shall not be used as an alternative.
Health & Safety at Work. 1. The boundaries of the workplace area to be covered by safety representatives will normally be the area controlled by the local manager within which there will be a safety representative(s) for each grade group-related constituency. In the event of failure to agree locally, the matter will be resolved by the Company Joint Safety Committee (as defined and described at 6.3.4 along with its respective constitution).
Health & Safety at Work. NES and the Training Provider have mutual responsibilities and obligations for Health & Safety (H&S) under this Agreement. The Employer’s Duty of care as defined in the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1992, will be the responsibility of the Training Provider. Pre-registration Trainees are required to undertake NES H&S modules where appropriate and to familiarise themselves with the Training Practice’s Health & Safety procedures. The Training Provider is required to ensure that Pre-registration Trainees are aware of their responsibilities with respect to Health and Safety at Work legislation.

  • Environmental, Health and Safety i. Environment, Health and Safety Performance. Seller acknowledges and accepts full and sole responsibility to maintain an environment, health and safety management system ("EMS") appropriate for its business throughout the performance of this Contract. Buyer expects that Seller’s EMS shall promote health and safety, environmental stewardship, and pollution prevention by appropriate source reduction strategies. Seller shall convey the requirement of this clause to its suppliers. Seller shall not deliver goods that contain asbestos mineral fibers.

  • Health and Safety C8.1 The Contractor shall promptly notify the Authority of any health and safety hazards which may arise in connection with the performance of the Contract. Neither the Borrower nor any Subsidiary has received any notice to the effect that any part of its operations or properties is not in material compliance with any such law, rule, regulation or order or notice that it or its property is the subject of any governmental investigation evaluating whether any remedial action is needed to respond to any release of any toxic or hazardous waste or substance into the environment, the consequences of which non-compliance or remedial action could constitute an Adverse Event.

  • Environmental, Health and Safety Matters (a) The Company has complied and is in compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety Requirements.

The Supplier and its staff (and/or any sub-supplier and/or subcontractor) shall comply with the laws and regulations in force related to protection of the environment, the health and safety instructions applicable to the Goods and Services performed pursuant to the Contract and especially, if appropriate, to the Goodsand Services performedon any Site by a third company.

  • Labor Relations; Compliance No Acquired Company has been or is a party to any collective bargaining or other labor contract or agreement, and there has not been, there is not presently pending or existing, and there is not Threatened, (a) any strike, slowdown, picketing, work stoppage, or employee grievance process, (b) any Proceeding against or affecting any Acquired Company relating to the alleged violation of any Legal Requirement pertaining to labor relations or employment matters, including any charge or complaint filed by an employee or union with the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, or any comparable Governmental Body, organizational activity, or other labor or employment dispute against or affecting any of the Acquired Companies or their premises, except as described in Part 3.21 of the Disclosure Letter, or (c) any application for certification of a collective bargaining agent. No event has occurred or circumstance exists that could provide the basis for any work stoppage or other labor dispute. There is no lockout of any employees by any Acquired Company, and no such action is contemplated by any Acquired Company. Each Acquired Company has complied in all respects with all Legal Requirements relating to employment, equal employment opportunity, nondiscrimination, immigration, wages, hours, benefits, collective bargaining, the payment of social security and similar taxes, occupational safety and health, and plant closing. No Acquired Company is liable for the payment of any compensation, damages, Taxes, fines, penalties, or other amounts, however designated, for failure to comply with any of the foregoing Legal Requirements.

  • No Safety Notices (i) Except as disclosed in the Registration Statement, the Time of Sale Disclosure Package and the Prospectus, there have been no recalls, field notifications, field corrections, market withdrawals or replacements, warnings, “dear doctor” letters, investigator notices, safety alerts or other notice of action relating to an alleged lack of safety, efficacy, or regulatory compliance of the Company’s products (“Safety Notices”) and (ii) to the Company’s knowledge, there are no facts that would be reasonably likely to result in (x) a Safety Notice with respect to the Company’s products or services, (y) a change in labeling of any the Company’s respective products or services, or (z) a termination or suspension of marketing or testing of any the Company’s products or services.
