Common use of Higher Duties Annual Leave Allowance Clause in Contracts

Higher Duties Annual Leave Allowance. An allowance equal to the difference between the higher duties rate of pay and the employee's substantive rate of pay, multiplied by the annual accrual factor per hour (.076923) for the time relieving in the higher paid position shall be paid. All paid leave and Agreement holidays are then paid at the employee's substantive rate of pay.
