Holiday During Vacation Period. If a day observed as a holiday occurs during an employee’s vacation, such employee shall receive eight (8) hours pay at base hourly rate in addition to vacation pay, and may elect to take a day of excused absence without pay, and consecutive with the vacation, provided such additional day of absence is scheduled in advance.
