Common use of Hour Shift Clause in Contracts

Hour Shift. a. For Employees who are scheduled to work a 12-hour shift plan, overtime work is defined as all authorized work in excess of eighty-four (84) hours in a 14-day work period. b. Overtime will not be considered unless it has been specifically ordered or authorized by the Department Head.
