Hours Worked Over 170 Hours. Hours worked in excess of 170 hours, shall be compensated at 1½ times the regular rate, as defined by the FLSA. No employee shall work unauthorized overtime. Under no circumstances may the employee record or maintain hours worked in an informal manner commonly referred to as “TP Time” (informal timekeeping method) or any method inconsistent with established Department policies and procedures. Failure to secure prior approval may result in discipline. The method of compensation shall be as follows:
