Common use of Identification of Shifts Clause in Contracts

Identification of Shifts. 1. There shall be a day shift, an afternoon shift, and a midnight shift. All employees are to be at their regularly assigned building or work area at their scheduled starting time. Scheduled starting times shall be adhered to. Job postings will define the normal shift and hours for each position. 2. The District retains the right to change the time periods within which shifts will commence, provided that the District gives the Union a minimum of two (2) weeks notice of any such change.
