Common use of Indemnification of the Employer Clause in Contracts

Indemnification of the Employer. The Union shall defend, indemnify, and save the Employer harmless against any and all claims, demands, suits, grievances, or other liability (including attorneys' fees incurred by the Employer) that arise out of or by reason of actions taken by the Employer pursuant to this Article, except those actions caused by the Employer's negligence.

Indemnification of the Employer. The Union union shall defend, indemnify, and save the Employer employer harmless against any and all claims, demands, suits, grievances, or other liability (including attorneys' fees incurred by the Employeremployer) that arise out of or by reason of actions taken by the Employer employer pursuant to this Article, except those actions caused by the Employeremployer's negligence.
