Independent Contractor Coverages. When Lessee obtains the services of an independent contractor for any services associated with the Leased Facility, Lessee shall cause such independent contractor to obtain and maintain in full force and effect: (a) Commercial general liability insurance coverage which includes premises/operations, products/completed operations, broad form property damage, advertising injury and personal injury; (b) Worker's Compensation insurance in compliance with the applicable Laws of each relevant State and employers' liability insurance coverage; and (c) Automobile liability insurance for any auto including all owned (if any), non-owned and hired vehicles; all with limits appropriate for the scope of contract work to be performed.   • Independent Contractor; Workers’ Compensation Insurance The Contractor is performing as an independent entity under this Contract. No part of this Contract shall be construed to represent the creation of an employment, agency, partnership or joint venture agreement between the parties. Neither party will assume liability for any injury (including death) to any persons, or damage to any property, arising out of the acts or omissions of the agents, employees or subcontractors of the other party. The Contractor shall provide all necessary unemployment and workers’ compensation insurance for the Contractor’s employees, and shall provide the State with a Certificate of Insurance evidencing such coverage prior to starting work under this Contract.
