Initial and Renewal Training. CPR and First Aid training will be completed within first thirty (30) working days in a position requiring certification. Renewals will be completed within a renewal period (no less than 60 days) designated by the District corresponding with the beginning of the school year in which the employee’s certification expires. Employees that do not attend the offered courses during the renewal period will be responsible for completing the training on their own time at their own cost. The District will notify employees of the need and means to complete this training annually via letter correspondence.
