Initial Appointments. a. Head coaches shall, at the option of the President, be offered either a four (4) year athletic or a probationary appointment. b. Nothing in this Agreement shall preclude the award of a fixed-term contract including head coaching duties in any category in accordance with Article 21, Section E., Subd. 1.
