Common use of Initial Hire Clause in Contracts

Initial Hire. Upon initial employment, the County will provide each new employee with a ballistic protective vest (“Vest”), up to the IIIA threat level, at a cost not to exceed $1,000. Employees must obtain their Vest from a vendor selected by the County. If an employee chooses a Vest with a cost in excess of the County’s contribution of $1,000, the additional cost will be paid by the employee.
