Common use of Insurance Eligibility Clause in Contracts

Insurance Eligibility. To be eligible for insurance benefits, the employee must be on the regular seniority list, and be scheduled for forty (40) hours or more per week. Employees working less than forty (40) hours or more per week, shall have the Employer contribute towards the insurance benefits prorated. Employees who work either temporarily or in cases of emergency under the terms of this Agreement shall not be covered by the provisions of this Article.
