INSURANCE Section A. Qualifications. Qualifications needed in order to receive full family medical healthcare, dental, and vision insurance coverage: 1. A secretary who is hired prior to June 30, 2009 shall qualify for full family benefits as long as the employee holds a secretarial position with Livonia Public Schools of twenty (20) or more contract hours a week. If the contracted hours are reduced for current employees, the employee’s right to current medical insurance will not be altered. 2. A secretary who is hired after June 30, 2009 will qualify for single coverage when employed in a secretarial position with Livonia Public Schools for twenty (20) contract hours a week. 3. A secretary who is hired after June 30, 2009 will qualify for full family coverage when employed or promoted to a secretarial position with Livonia Public Schools of 40 contract hours a week. 4. Employees covered under No. 2 and No. 3 above who are moved involuntarily to a position with fewer hours or who have the position held during a school year reduced in hours, will have the same level of insurance coverage throughout the school year when the change was made, regardless of any adjustments in hours that may occur after the work year begins. 5. Individuals who qualify for less than full family coverage may purchase the additional coverage at their time of hire through payroll deductions. 6. Secretaries hired before June 30, 2009 and laid off after June 30, 2009, on the obligation list and later recalled, and employees who are transferred to positions with fewer contracted hours or would have their hours reduced because of budget reductions would not be treated as new employees and would maintain the level of health, dental, and vision insurance coverage previously held before the layoff or change in assignment occurred. 7. The above qualifications do not apply for STD or LTD eligibility.

  • Insurer Qualifications Without limiting any obligations or liabilities of Consultant, Consultant shall purchase and maintain, at its own expense, hereinafter stipulated minimum insurance with insurance companies authorized to do business in the State of Arizona pursuant to ARIZ. REV. STAT. § 20-206, as amended, with an AM Best, Inc. rating of A- or above with policies and forms satisfactory to the City. Failure to maintain insurance as specified herein may result in termination of this Agreement at the City’s option.

  • Minimum Qualifications If applicable pursuant to Article 3, I acknowledge that the Bidder meets the minimum qualification requirements established for this solicitation.

  • STAFF QUALIFICATIONS CONTRACTOR shall ensure that all individuals employed, contracted, and/or otherwise hired by CONTRACTOR to provide classroom and/or individualized instruction or related services hold a license, certificate, permit, or other document equivalent to that which staff in a public school are required to hold in the service rendered consistent with Education Code section 56366.1(n)(1) and are qualified pursuant to Title 34 of the Code of Federal Regulations sections 200.56 and 200.58, and Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations sections 3001(y), 3064 and 3065. Such qualified staff may only provide related services within the scope of their professional license, certification or credential and ethical standards set by each profession, and not assume responsibility or authority for another related services provider or special education teacher’s scope of practice. CONTRACTOR shall ensure that all staff are appropriately credentialed to provide instruction and services to students with the disabling conditions placed in their program/school through documentation provided to the CDE (5 CCR 3064 (a)).

  • What Are the Qualifications for Charitable Donations The Pension Protection Act of 2006 allows Xxxx XXX holders who are RMD age or older at the time of a distribution to annually exclude qualified charitable distribution amounts up to $100,000 per year from gross income. The provision was made permanent by the PATH Act of 2015. A qualified charitable distribution must be made payable directly to the qualified charity as described in Section 170(b) of the Internal Revenue Code. Distributions from SEP or SIMPLE IRAs do not qualify for this type of designation.

  • Required Qualifications At all times during the term of the Contract, Vendor shall have available, under direct employment and supervision and/or subcontract agreement fully incorporating the terms and conditions of the Contract Documents, the required qualified and properly licensed (as applicable) personnel to properly fulfill all the terms and conditions of the Contract.

(b) Sun shall use its reasonable best efforts to, and cause each of its Subsidiaries to, (i) cause the Mergers, taken together, to be treated as an “exchange” described in Section 351(a) of the Code and (ii) to obtain the opinion of counsel referred to in Exhibit C (including by taking the actions described in Exhibit C). Sun shall use its reasonable best efforts not to, and shall use its reasonable best efforts not to permit any of its Subsidiaries to, take any action (including any action otherwise permitted by this Section 6.16) that would prevent or impede the Mergers, taken together, from qualifying as an “exchange” described in Section 351(a) of the Code. (c) Unless otherwise required pursuant to a “determination” within the meaning of Section 1313(a) of the Code, each of the parties shall report the Mergers for U.S. federal income tax purposes collectively as an “exchange” within the meaning of Section 351(a) of the Code. Parent will (and following the Closing will cause the Trident Surviving Corporation and the Sun Surviving Corporation, as applicable, to) file all required information with its Tax Returns and maintain all records required for Tax purposes.
