Interconnection with other Collocated Carriers. Upon placement of a service order, Ameritech shall permit Requesting Carrier to Interconnect its network with that of another Collocating Telecommunications Carrier at Ameritech’s Premises by connecting its Collocated equipment to the Collocated equipment of the other Telecommunications Carrier (“Carrier Cross-Connect Service for Interconnection” or “CCCSI”) only if Requesting Carrier and the other collocating Telecommunications Carrier’s Collocated equipment are used for Interconnection with Ameritech or to access Ameritech’s unbundled Network Elements. Requesting Carrier may construct its own CCCSI (using copper cable or optical fiber equipment) between the two carriers’ Collocated equipment. Such CCCSI (i) must, at a minimum, comply in all respects with Ameritech’s technical and engineering requirements and (ii) shall require Requesting Carrier to lease Ameritech cable rack and/or riser space to carry the connecting transport facility. The rates for leasing of cable rack and riser space are set forth at Item VII of the Pricing Schedule. If Requesting Carrier Interconnects its network with another Collocating Telecommunications Carrier pursuant to this Section 12.6, Requesting Carrier shall, in addition to its indemnity obligations set forth in Article XXIV and Section 12.10.7, indemnify Ameritech for any Loss arising from Requesting Carrier’s installation, use, maintenance or removal of such connection with the other Collocating Telecommunications Carrier, to the extent caused by the actions or inactions of Requesting Carrier or its agents, including the other Collocating carrier.

Interconnection with other Collocated Carriers. Upon written request to CBT, CLEC shall be permitted to Interconnect its network with that of another collocating Telecommunications Carrier at CBT's Premises by connecting its Collocated equipment to the Collocated equipment of the other Telecommunications Carrier via a Cross-Connection or other connecting transmission facilities (“Co-Carrier Cross-Connect”) so long as (i) CLEC's and the other collocating Telecommunications Carrier's collocated equipment are to be used for Interconnection with CBT or for access to CBT's Network Elements (except that the Parties acknowledge that CLEC may Collocate equipment necessary to connect to such other collocating Telecommunications Carrier (i.e., a multiplexer) that may not be directly connected to CBT for access to CBT's Network Elements but will connect at some point to CBT's network), (ii) CLEC provides the connection between the equipment in the collocated spaces via a Cross-Connection or other connecting transmission facility that, at a minimum, complies in all respects with CBT's technical and engineering requirements, and (iii) the connecting transmission facilities of CLEC and the other collocating Telecommunications Carrier are contained wholly within CBT's Premises. In the event that such Co-Carrier Cross-Connect is used to connect with the Virtual Collocation equipment of CLEC or another Telecommunications Carrier, CBT shall provide the Cross-Connect on an individual case basis at rates set in accordance with the Act.
Interconnection with other Collocated Carriers. Upon written request to SBC-AMERITECH, CLEC shall be permitted to Interconnect its network with that of another collocating Telecommunications Carrier at SBC-AMERITECH's Premises by connecting its collocated equipment to the collocated equipment of the other Telecommunications Carrier via a Cross-Connection or other connecting transmission facilities. CLEC shall not be required by SBC-AMERITECH to purchase a Cross-Connect to interconnect with the collocated equipment of other Telecommunication Carriers. CLEC may make this connection to another collocating Telecommunications Carrier so long as: (i) CLEC's and the other collocating Telecommunications Carrier's collocated equipment are both used for Interconnection with SBC-AMERITECH or for access to SBC-AMERITECH's Network Elements, (ii) CLEC provides the connection between the equipment in the collocated spaces via a Cross-Connection or copper or optical connecting transmission facility that, at a minimum, complies in all respects with SBC-AMERITECH's technical and engineering requirements as identified in Section 12.5 and, (iii) the connecting transmission facilities of CLEC and the other collocating Telecommunications Carrier are contained wholly within space provided solely for Physical Collocation within SBC-AMERITECH's Premises. SBC- AMERITECH shall not impose on CLEC more stringent technical and engineering requirements than those SBC-AMERITECH imposes on its own equipment. SBC- AMERITECH shall not be authorized to dictate any terms or wording of any agreement which CLEC may enter into with any CLEC or other collocating entity.

In the event that such Co-Carrier Cross Connection is used to connect with the Virtual Collocation equipment of Frontier or another Telecommunications Carrier, Ameritech shall provide the Cross Connect at the rates set forth at Item VII of the Pricing Schedule. Interconnection with other Collocated Carriers. Upon written request to Ameritech, 21st Century shall be permitted to Interconnect its network with that of another collocating Telecommunications Carrier at Ameritech's Premises by connecting its Collocated equipment to the Collocated equipment of the other Telecommunications Carrier via a Cross-Connection or other connecting transmission facilities ("Co-Carrier Cross-Connect") so long as (i) 21st Century's and the other collocating Telecommunications Carrier's collocated equipment are to be used for Interconnection with Ameritech or for access to Ameritech's Network Elements (except that the Parties acknowledge that 21st Century may Collocate equipment necessary to connect to such other collocating Telecommunications Carrier (i.e., a multiplexer) that may not be directly connected to Ameritech for access to Ameritech's Network Elements but will connect at some point to Ameritech's network), (ii) 21st Century provides the connection between the equipment in the collocated spaces via a Cross-Connection or other connecting transmission facility that, at a minimum, complies in all respects with Ameritech's technical and engineering requirements and (iii) the connecting transmission facilities of 21st Century and the other collocating Telecommunications Carrier are contained wholly within space provided solely for Physical Collocation within Ameritech's Premises. In the event that such Co-Carrier Cross-Connect is used to connect with the Virtual Collocation equipment of 21st Century or another Telecommunications Carrier, Ameritech shall provide the Cross-Connect at the rates set forth in Item VII of the Pricing Schedule.
