Common use of Interim Bidding Clause in Contracts

Interim Bidding. Should a vacancy occur during the year, the vacancy will be posted for a five (5) day period and shall be filled by a member in the same rank by bidding based upon Rank Seniority as defined in Section 8.1 of the Agreement.
