Intermissions and Calls. The Engager agrees that there shall be a fifteen (15) minute intermission between ballets or acts of ballets if an Artist appearing in both ballets or acts of ballets is required to make a change of either costume or make-up or both. The definition and placement of acts of ballets and scenes of ballets shall be at the discretion of the Engager. There shall be a call ten (10) minutes prior to the appearance of the Artists in such second ballet advising the Artists that they shall be required on stage five (5) minutes after such call. This Clause 21:01 may be altered by Equity at the request of the Engager where a program is made up of four (4) or more separate works. There shall be a half-hour call, a fifteen-minute call, and a final call "five minutes - beginners" shall be given. The intermission shall begin at the close of the curtain at the end of the ballet, act or final curtain call of the act or ballet, whichever is later.
