Common use of Investigation by the College of Teachers Clause in Contracts

Investigation by the College of Teachers. If a teacher is the subject of an investigation by the College of Teachers, no action will be taken upon said teacher by the Board, without prior investigation by the Board.

Investigation by the College of Teachers. If a teacher is the subject of an investigation by the College of Teachers, no action will be taken upon said teacher by the Board, nor shall any notice thereof be included in the Teacher’s personnel file until the Teacher and the Unit have been duly notified by the Board and without prior investigation by the Board. The parties agree that a complaint to, or investigation by the College of Teachers is not in and of itself grounds for discipline or dismissal. Notwithstanding any determination by the College of Teachers, and any action against the Teacher by the Board shall be taken in accordance with the terms of the Collective Agreement.
