(1) Job Incurred Disability Leave With Pay (A) Definition: Disability leave with pay is an employee's absence from duty with pay because of disability caused by illness or injury arising out of and in the course of employment which has been declared to be compensable under the Workers' Compensation Law. Only permanent or probationary employees occupying permanent positions are eligible for disability leave with pay.
