Common use of Job Share Vacancy Clause in Contracts

Job Share Vacancy. If one (1) job share employee vacates the position, or if a vacancy exists and if the Agency determines that job sharing is not appropriate for the position, or if the Agency is unable to recruit qualified applicants, in the opinion of the Agency, for the job share position, the remaining employee shall have the right to assume the position on a full-time basis. Upon approval of the immediate supervisor, the remaining employee may elect to transfer to a vacant part-time position in the same classification or to voluntary demote. If the above conditions are not available or not acceptable, the employee agrees to resign.
