Joint Occupational Health and Safety Advisory Sub-Committees. (a) The Employer and the Union agree to establish an Advisory Sub-Committee to work through the Joint Labour-Management and Occupational Health and Safety Committees at appropriate locations as per Clause 6.2 - Joint Labour-Management and Occupational Health and Safety Committee. Occupational Health and Safety Committees shall be composed of personnel employed at the location. The composition will be determined locally through management and local union representatives. Union representatives shall be appointed by the B.C. Government and Service Employees' Union. These committees The sub-committee will meet, at regular intervals to be determined by the committees and in advance of required meetings outlined in Clause 6.2, to make recommendations on unsafe, hazardous, or dangerous conditions with the aim of preventing and reducing risk of occupational injury and illness. A copy of all minutes of the Occupational Health and Safety Committees shall be sent to the Union and the Employer.
