Juror, Witness, Quarantine. a) A teacher is entitled to salary despite absence from duty by reason of a summons to serve as a juror, or a summons to serve as a witness in any proceeding to which the teacher is not a party or one of the persons charged, provided that the teacher pays the Board any fee, exclusive of travelling and living allowances, that the teacher receives as a juror or as a witness. The days shall not be deducted from the sick leave credits.
