Common use of Jury Duty and Court Appearance Clause in Contracts

Jury Duty and Court Appearance. Any employee who is subpoenaed for jury duty during school hours by any person or party and any employee who is subpoenaed by any person or party to appear in any court proceeding shall be provided leave for such duty and appearances and shall return to work upon completion of their jury duty or court appearance. The School District shall pay the employee the difference between the fees or remuneration granted by the court or subpoenaing party and the regular School District pay.
