Common use of Jury Duty/Crown Witness Clause in Contracts

Jury Duty/Crown Witness. 30.01 An employee who is called for jury duty/subpoenaed witness shall be excused from work for the days of which he serves and he shall receive, for each such day of jury duty or subpoenaed witness on which he, otherwise, would have worked, the difference between his normal hours of work at his normal hourly rate, and payment he receives for jury duty/subpoenaed witness. The employee will present proof of services and the amount of pay received therefore. The Company’s liability is limited to forty (40) working days per occurrence.

The employee will present proof of services and the amount of pay received therefore. The Company’s liability is limited to forty ten (4010) working days per occurrence.
