Common use of Jury Duty or Court Proceedings Clause in Contracts

Jury Duty or Court Proceedings. An employee shall be entitled to leave with pay for jury service if he/she is unable to be excused or to have such service rescheduled. An employee shall also be entitled to leave with pay when subpoenaed to appear as a material witness in a legal proceeding to which neither the employee nor the Association is a party litigant.
